The training programme of InSilicoHealth will stimulate close interdisciplinary interaction between 11 Doctoral Candidates with different educational backgrounds (Health Sciences, Engineering, and Social Sciences) by creating a dynamic, integrated learning environment through regular and guided meetings, with the goal to improve effective research collaboration and cross-disciplinary communication between these different in silico actors. Indeed, apart from stimulating excellent academic research projects, InSilicoHealth will provide the Doctoral Candidates with unique real-world learning experiences through the involvement of industrial partners and close collaboration with clinical actors and patient organisations, positioning the Doctoral Candidates at the forefront of this digital healthcare transformation, thus further enhancing their training and employability.
