InSilicoHealth proposes a compelling interdisciplinary joint degree-Doctoral Network programme for 11 Doctoral
Candidates (DCs), with intersectoral training components to prepare a new generation of outstanding digital health
professionals. The programme explicitly encourages the DCs to surpass the current often technology-driven focus, by
explicitly addressing the ethical, legal societal implications of virtual human twin technologies. Through effective
communication training, the DCs will be prepared to actively contribute to leveraging societal acceptance and
clinical adoption of in silico health solutions through engaging interaction with industrial, clinical, and
policy-oriented actors, as well as the wider public.
